Terms and Conditions

Welcome to medy. These Terms and Conditions set out the agreement between you and medy when you use our website, our app, or any of our services. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using medy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our services.

These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information, and any other terms we show you when you order or use a specific service. We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in our service. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and your continued use of medy means you accept the updated Terms.

medy is a Saudi technology platform that connects you with licensed physicians and pharmacies in the Kingdom, with the aim of delivering advanced technology-based healthcare. medy is a brand owned by its owner, who is registered under FL-514179679 with the Ministry of Human Resources in Saudi Arabia.

We do not ourselves provide any medical services, and we do not operate any clinic or health facility. We do contract with licensed physicians and licensed pharmacies to provide the medical services related to our products. These partners work fully independently, and all medical decisions, including whether treatment is suitable for you and what, if anything, is prescribed, are made independently by the licensed practitioners. We do not direct, influence, or interfere with their clinical decisions.

You must be at least 18 years old, live in Saudi Arabia, and be able to enter into a binding agreement to use medy. You must give us accurate, current, and complete information, and keep it up to date. We may refuse or cancel your access if we believe the information you gave us is untrue or incomplete.

You need an account to order from medy. Keep your login details confidential and do not share them. You are responsible for any activity that happens under your account.

You may create one account for yourself only, and you must not create an account on behalf of anyone else. If you know or suspect that someone else has access to your account, please contact us immediately. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

medy is a platform that helps you access care. Through our service you can complete an assessment, have your details reviewed by an independent licensed physician, order medication where it is prescribed, and receive support and follow-up. We coordinate the process and provide the technology. The medical care itself is delivered by independent professionals.

We do not guarantee that a physician will prescribe any treatment. Whether treatment is suitable, and what it involves, is a clinical decision that only the physician can make.

medy provides the technology that lets you share your details and stay in touch about your care. If your physician considers a remote consultation appropriate, they may contact you by phone, by video, or through their own clinical systems, under their own licence. We may facilitate that communication, but the consultation is between you and your physician.

medy is not an emergency service. If you have a medical emergency, call 997 or go to the nearest emergency department. Your physician will decide whether remote assessment is appropriate, and may ask you to see a doctor in person at any point.

Prescriptions are issued only at the discretion of the treating physician, and only after they assess that treatment is medically appropriate for you.

Where a prescription is issued, it is dispensed and delivered by a licensed pharmacy that meets the requirements of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA). We do not decide whether you should be prescribed anything, and we do not influence prescribing decisions.

Prices are shown in Saudi Riyals (SAR) and include any applicable taxes unless we say otherwise. When you place an order, we may place a temporary hold on your payment method. You are charged only once a physician has reviewed your request and approved your treatment plan.

Some plans renew automatically each month. If your plan renews, we will charge your payment method at the start of each renewal period, and you can stop the renewal at any time from your account or by contacting us. We may change our prices from time to time. If we do, we will let you know before the change applies to you.

You can cancel your plan at any time from your account or by contacting us. If a physician decides that treatment is not suitable for you, we will cancel the temporary hold and refund any eligible amount to your original payment method. You will not pay for treatment that is not approved.

Once medication has been shipped, it cannot be returned or refunded for safety reasons. If your medication arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us and we will put it right.

Approved prescriptions are delivered by our delivery partners, in most cases within one business day across major Saudi cities. Delivery times are estimates and may change for reasons outside our control. You are responsible for giving us a correct address and for being able to receive your delivery.

Once your order is delivered, the risk in the medication passes to you. Please store it as instructed on the packaging.

All rights in the medy platform, our brand, and the content we provide belong to us or to our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use medy for your own care. You must not use our brand or our content without our written permission.

Anything you upload or send us may be used to provide the service, and you grant us a free, worldwide licence to use it for that purpose.

medy may contain links to websites or services that we do not own or control, including partner pharmacies and payment providers. We provide these for convenience only, and we are not responsible for their content or their practices.

The general information on our platform, including articles and guides, is provided for education only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified professional.

Individual results vary. We cannot guarantee any particular outcome, and medication carries risks that must be discussed with your prescribing physician. The content we provide is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.

We work to keep medy available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be online or free of errors. We may change, pause, or withdraw part of the service for technical, operational, or legal reasons. We may also update or discontinue features at any time.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the platform.

Where we are liable to you, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the order in question. Nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under Saudi consumer protection law.

If your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of medy, causes loss or damage to us or to someone else, you agree to cover us for that loss, including reasonable legal costs.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably believe your use of medy puts you or others at risk.

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing your account does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before it closed, including our right to keep records as required by law.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. It forms part of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia.

If a dispute arises, we ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve it together. If we cannot resolve it, the competent Saudi courts will have jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms affects your right to raise a complaint with the relevant Saudi authorities.
